Deaths in Limerick - March 26, 2018

The death has occurred of Sister Pius Dunne, Sisters of Mercy, Catherine McAuley House, and late of Ballinasloe, Co. Galway, peacefully in the loving care of the community and staff of Catherine McAuley House. 

Deeply regretted by the Sisters of Mercy, her brother Fr. Michael Dunne (Dublin) sister Aggie (Galway), nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, extended family and many friends.

Reposing at Griffin’s Funeral Home, John’s Gate on Tuesday (Mar. 27th) from 5pm. Removal at 6.30pm to St. Mary’s Church, Athlunkard Street. Requiem Mass on Wednesday (Mar. 28th) at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Convent Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Siobhan Barron (née Roche), Hanwell, London, England and late of Broadford, Newcastle West.

Beloved wife of the late Seamus loving mother of Elizabeth and Geraldine, sisters of Mary Flynn (Ardagh) and Betty (England). Deeply regretted by her loving family, relatives and friends.

Reposing in Doyle's Funeral Home The Old Rectory, Rosbercon, New Ross, from 6pm on Wednesday, 28th March, with removal at 7.30pm to St. David's Church, Listerlin (Mullinarrigle). Requiem Mass will take place at 12 noon on Thursday, 29th March, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The death has occurred of Michael Hanrahan, Glenosheen, Ardpatrick, in the exceptional care of the staff at Milford Care Centre.

Very deeply regretted by his loving brothers, Jimmy & Gerard, sisters Mary Allen (Kilworth) & Helen Buckley (Donohill), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law & great friend Patsy Barrett, nephews, nieces and a large circle of friends. RIP. 

Reposing at John McCarthy & Sons Funeral home Kilfinane this Tuesday evening from 6pm to 8pm with removal to St. Patrick's Church, Ardpatrick. Requiem Mass Wednesday at 12 o'clock with burial immediately afterwards to the Hill Cemetery. Family flowers only, Donation in lieu to Milford Care Centre, Limerick.

The death has occurred of Billy Harnett, Ballycommane, Tournafulla, Co. Limerick and The Brothers of Charity, Newcastle West, peacefully.

Billy, son of Josie and the late Dan C. Harnett; sadly missed by his mother, beloved brothers Joe, Kevin, Damien and Dan, their wives and partners Margo, Cindy, Stacey and Sheila, nieces Ciara and Louise, nephew Daniel, relatives and friends. R.I.P. 

Removal on Wednesday to St. Patrick’s Church Tournafulla to arrive for 11.00 a.m. Requiem Mass followed by interment in the adjoining graveyard. No flowers or wreaths please. Donations in lieu to The Brothers of Charity.

The death has occurred of Michael O'Keeffe, Glenameade, Pallaskenry, Co. Limerick and Lixnaw, Co. Kerry, retired Supt.

Greatly and sadly missed by his beloved wife Maureen, adored daughter Suzanné, cherished son Michael Paul, loved daughter-in-law Carmel, adored grandchildren Isabelle, Michael, Molly and Jack; dearly missed by his brothers and sisters Chris, Con, Sean, Joe, Nancy, Noreen, Patsy, Mary, Helen, Kitty, Betty and Eamon, nephews, nieces, cousins, great neighbours and cherished friends.

The death has occurred of Edward O'Kelly, Lord Edward St., Kilmallock.

Survived by sister Nannette O'Leary (Killarney), sister-in-law Brid O Kelly (Kilfinane), nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. R.I.P.
