The death has occurred of Patrick Ryan, Greenpark, South Circular Road, Limerick and formerly of Ardcroney, Co. Tipperary. Late of Moylish Technical College.

February 14th 2026 peacefully at Caherass Nursing Home.

Beloved husband of the late Mary. Dearly loved father of John, Deirdre, Michael, Robert, Declan, Deborah and Claire. 

Sadly missed by his sons-in-law, Pete, Clement and Luke daughter-in-law Sarah, his cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters Noreen, Ena and Maureen, extended family and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street on Wednesday (18th February) from 7.45pm to 8.45pm. Funeral arriving at St. Joseph’s Church, O’Connell Avenue on Thursday (19th February) for Requiem Mass at 11.30am followed by burial in Ballycannon Cemetery, Meelick.

The death has occurred of Pauline O’Rourke – McCormack, (Retired S.R.N.) Ard Caoin Clonmel, Co. Tipperary and late of Uregare, Bruff Co. Limerick, peacefully in the loving care of the staff of St. Theresa’s Hospital Clogheen on Sunday 15th February 2026.

Predeceased by her sister Noelle Carroll. Sadly missed by her loving Husband Liam, brothers George and Pat, sisters Maire and Phil, sisters in law Avril and Marion Nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and a large circle of friends.

Reposing in John O’Donoghue & Sons Funeral Home Kickham St. Clonmel (E91Pk19) on Tuesday from 5pm with removal at 7pm to St. Oliver’s Church (E91W903).

Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 11.30am followed by a private cremation service.

The death has occurred of Maura O’Donoghue, Willow Lawn, Ballinlough & formerly of Dromcollogher, Co. Limerick. 

On February 16th, 2026, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at Douglas Nursing Home, Maura (née Aherne), beloved wife of the late Tom, much loved mother of Eddie, Marie and Kevin, predeceased by her sister Marjorie, loving grandmother of Cian, Brian, Gary and Stephen and great-grandchildren Noah, Alec and Luca.

Sadly missed by her loving family, son-in-law John, daughter-in-law Catherine, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the Temple Hill Funeral Home, Boreenmanna Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd; On Wednesday (February 18th) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.

Requiem Mass at 11.00am on Thursday (February 19th) in the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes, Ballinlough which can be viewed here

Funeral afterwards to St. Michael’s Cemetery, Blackrock.

It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Breda Murphy (née McNamara) Cosgrave Park, Moyross and formerly Smith O’Brien Avenue, Kileely, Limerick.

On February 14th 2026, Breda passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by loving friends, family and neighbours.

Predeceased by her mother Christina, father John and brothers Seanie and Paddy.

Deeply loved and missed by her husband Martin (Arty) Murphy, daughter Christina, sons Martin, Leon and Dean, sister Elizabeth, grandchildren Calvin, Bradley, Dylan and Amber, great grandson Mason, brothers Eugene (Linda), Tom (Mary) and William, sisters-in-law Marie, Doley, Ann, Rosario, friends, neighbours and family.

Reposing at Cross’s Funeral Home, Lower Gerald Griffin Street, Tuesday, February 17th, from 4pm to 6pm.

Funeral will arrive Wednesday, February 18th, at St. Munchin’s Church, Clancy Strand, for Requiem Mass at 1pm, Funeral afterwards to Ballycannon Cemetery, Meelick, Co. Clare.

The death has occurred of Daniel (Danny) Lynch, Chestnut Court, Kennedy Park, Limerick.

Passed away peacefully in the care of the staff of Milford Care Centre, and in the presence of his family on 15th February 2026.

Danny will be deeply missed by his loving family, wife Margaret (Peggy), children Patricia, Fiona, Daniel, Damien, Conor and

Ann-Marie, his 11 adored grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, daughters-in-law Noreen, Sharon and Linda, sons-in-law Tony, Billy and Joey, sister-in-law Teresa, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Griffin’s Funeral Home, John’s Gate, on Thursday 19th February from 5pm to 6.30pm. Funeral arriving at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Janesboro, on Friday 20th February for Requiem Mass at 11.00am, with Burial afterwards in Mount St. Lawrence Cemetery.

The death has occurred of William (Billy) Eggleston, Killarney Road, Abbeyfeale and formerly of Main Street, Abbeyfeale, Co. Limerick, passed away peacefully at Kilcara House Nursing Home on Saturday, 14th February 2026.

Predeceased by his parents Edward and Mary, brother Eddie and aunt Peggy.

Billy is very sadly missed by his brother Denis, sister-in-law Ann, nephews John and Paul, nieces Melanie, Elizabeth, Denise, Louise and Mary, grandnieces and grandnephews, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Harnett’s Funeral Home, The Square, Abbeyfeale (V94 AK44) on Tuesday 17th February from 6.00 p.m. until 7.30 p.m. Requiem Mass for Billy will be celebrated on Wednesday 18th February in The Church of the Assumption, Abbeyfeale at 12.00 p.m.
