The death has occurred of Esther Meehan, nèe Dowling, Woodvale, Foynes. Co Limerick, peacefully at University Hospital Limerick surrounded by her loving family on February 3.

Predeceased by her husband Donnie Meehan.

Esther will be sadly missed by her godson Dermot, his wife Brigid and their children Brian and Orla and her beloved Annamarie Meehan along with a wide circle of neighbours and friends.

Reposing at St Senan's Church, Foynes on Friday, February 6 from 5pm to 7pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday, February 7 at 12 noon followed by burial afterwards in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Denis (Denny) Dennehy, Dr Newman Place, Dromcollogher, Co Limerick, formerly of Ballinla, Freemount, Co Cork, on February 3.

Fondly loved by his daughter Sarah Louise. Deeply regretted by his brothers Patsy, Tom, Johnny and Michael, sisters Mary Coakley and Julia Duggan, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Predeceased by his brothers Noel and Donie.

Reposing at McCarthy's Funeral Home Dromcollogher (P56T624), on Friday, February 6 from 6pm to 8pm, followed by removal to St Michael's Church Freemount. Requiem Mass on Saturday, February 7 at 12.30. Burial afterwards in Deliga new cemetery.

The death has occurred of Eileen (Phil) Monaghan, née O’Leary, St Nessan’s Park, Dooradoyle, Limerick and late of Cahermore Beara, Co Cork on February 4, peacefully at St Paul’s Nursing Home.

Beloved wife of the late Pat.

Dearly loved mother of Des, Patrick, Mary and the late Michael. Sadly missed by her daughters-in-law Veronica and Frances, son-in-law David, her cherished 11 grandchildren, great grandson, sister-in-law Rita, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Reposing at St Paul’s Church, Dooradoyle on Thursday evening, February 5 from 5.30pm to 7pm. Requiem Mass on Friday, February 6 at 11am with burial afterwards in St Nessan’s Cemetery Old Mungret.

The death has occurred of Sr Nora Nash, OSF, late of Sisters of St Francis of Philadelphia, Aston, Philadelphia, USA, formerly Carnagh, Ballyhahill, Co Limerick, peacefully in Assisi House on Friday, January 30.

Deeply regretted by her sisters Mary, Teresa and Eileen; her sisters-in-law Cheryl, Mary, and Shelia; her brother-in-law Frank Dillon; her treasured nieces and nephews; grand nieces and grand nephews, many friends and her Franciscan family.

All services will be held in Assisi House on Tuesday, February 10. A Christian Wake Service will be held at 9:30am, with Mass of Christian Burial at 11am and Interment of Ashes will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery in Aston, USA.

Beloved daughter of the late Michael Willie and Margaret O’Connor (nee Ryan).

Loving sister of the late Jack, Charlie, Sister Ignatius 'Ellie May' in London, Mikey, and Margaret in USA.

Sadly missed by her loving brother Frank, nephew Jeremiah, nieces Cathy and Patti, grandniece Willow, and many cousins, relatives, neighbours, and friends.

Reposing at Meehan’s Funeral Home, Newport on Thursday, February 5 from 6pm until 7pm.

Funeral Mass at St Patrick’s Church in Boher, Co Limerick on Friday, February 6 at 1pm.

Burial after in the family vault Old Mount St Lawrence, Limerick.

The death has occurred of Lrraine O'Flaherty, Castletroy View, Old Singland Road, Limerick, peacefully, at Milford Care Centre, in the presence of family and friends, on February 3.

2nd Officer, Limerick Civil Defence and Irish Blood Transfusion Service.

Predeceased by her parents, Michael and Mary, brother Martin and nephew Aaron.

Lorraine will be sadly missed by her loving daughter Abbie, sister Cecilia, brother Michael, nephew Killian, sister-in-law Deirdre, brother-in-law Mike, and her best friend Tara, her aunts, uncles, relatives and her wide circle of many friends. 

Reposing at Milford Care Centre Mortuary, on Friday, February 6, 5pm to 6.30pm. Funeral arriving to St John’s Cathedral, on Saturday, February 7 for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Castlemungret Cemetery, Mungret.

The death has occurred of Gordon Spillane, Clare Street, Limerick, peacefully on February 3, in University Hospital Limerick, in the presence of his loving family.

Beloved husband of the late Kitty, dearest father of Mary, Catherine and Rona, adoring grandfather to Robert, Caroline, Kate, Alison and the late Laura and great-grandfather of Chloe and Ella.

Gordon will be sadly missed by his family, son-in-law Paul, sister-in-law Nellie, brother Vinnie and his wife Mary and family in New Jersey, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. 

Reposing at Griffin’s Funeral Home, John’s Gate, on Thursday, February 5, 5pm to 6.30pm. Funeral arriving to St John’s Cathedral, on Friday, February 6 for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Castlemungret Cemetery, Mungret.
