The death has occurred of Christopher Smith Cowles of Houston, Texas and formerly of Limerick city.
He is survived by his wife, Delia, his daughters Helen and Christine, sons-in-law Milton and Mauricio, brother Alan, sisters-in-law Marie Clancy O’Flaherty, Teresa Clancy Cierans, Ann Matson O’Gorman, Sally Cowles and Linda Cowles, and a host of nieces and nephews.
The memorial service will be held in Houston on January 24.

The death has occurred of Mary Scanlon of 8 Corbry Estate, Glin and formerly of Tenekilla, Ballyhahill.
Mary passed away, peacefully, in the loving care of the staff of Camilla Ward St Ita's Nursing Home, Newcastle West, on Wednesday, January 14.
Mary is predeceased by her parents Maurice and Catherine Mary Scanlon and her sister Joan.
Mary will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her cousin PJ Nolan and family, Moyvane, Co Kerry, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.
Reposing in The Church of the Visitation, Ballyhahill (V94 HN36) on Friday, January 16 from 5pm to 6.30pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 17 at 1pm and Mary will be laid to rest in Kilfergus Cemetery, Glin.

The death has occurred of Timmy Madigan of Ballyegna, Ardagh, Limerick (Madigan's Bus Hire.)
Timmy, passed away, peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family and in the excellent care of the Milford Palliative Care team, on Thursday, January 15.
Timmy is lovingly remembered by his wife Catherine (Dillane), his children Lorraine (O’Connor), Geraldine (O’Keeffe), Marie, Tim and Brendan, his eight adored grandchildren Muiris, Oisin, Aaron, Lauren, Katie, Fionn, Fiadh and Archie, sons-in-law Liam and Mark, daughters-in-law Tanya and Denise, brothers John Joe, Kieran and Jim, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Timmy is predeceased by his brothers Michael, Patsy and Dan.
Reposing in St Colman’s Church (V42 K778), Kilcolman, Ardagh on Saturday, January 17 from 4pm to 7.30pm.
Arriving at St Colman's Church on Sunday, January 18 for Requiem Mass at 1pm.

The death has occurred of Timothy (Timmy) Collins of 5 Turagh Crescent and formerly of Cappanuke, Cappamore.
Timmy passed away, peacefully, at Roseville House Nursing Home, in his 83rd year, on Thursday, January 15.
Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Mary and his brothers Tom, John Joe, Mike, Pa and Joseph.
Deeply regretted by his sister Joan Mullins (Inagh, Co. Clare), nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Lynch-Kelly Funeral Home, Cappamore, on Saturday evening, January 17 from 6.30 pm with removal at 8pm to St Michael’s Church, Cappamore.
Requiem Mass on Sunday, January 18 at 11.30am with burial afterwards in Towerhill Cemetery.
