Deaths in Limerick
The death has occurred of John (Joseph) Gleeson, peacefully under the exceptional care of Milford Care Centre, on January 7, surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his wife, Margaret.
Much beloved by his daughters, Catriona and Gwen, sons, Tony and Michael, son-in-laws Dan and Liam, daughter-in-law Roos, and grandchildren Isobel, Harry, James, Sadie, Tessa and Isla. He will be missed by his beloved partner Breda, his sister Madge, and many friends and extended family.
John will repose in McMahon's Funeral Home, Blackwater on Friday, January 9 from 6pm to 7:30pm followed by removal to St Patrick's Church, Parteen. Funeral Mass Saturday, January 10 at 11am followed by cremation in Shannon Crematorium at 1pm.

The death has occurred of Ravi Lucca Oliveira Santos, Churchtown Road, Newcastle West, Limerick, on January 3.
Aged 1 year and 4 months.
Deeply regretted by his loving parents Danielle Lorrayne Oliveira Moraes and Ronaldo DaSilva Santos Junior. He will be sadly missed by his grandparents, uncles, aunts, family and friends.
The funeral will arrive at Calvary Cemetery, Newcastle West, Co Limerick on Thursday, January 8 for the service and burial at 4pm.

The death has occurred of Mary Cotter (née Gough), Camas, Newcastle West and late of Rathgormack, Co Waterford, peacefully at home on January 7.
Predeceased by her husband John (Jack) Cotter, granddaughter Mia, her parents William and Margaret, brothers Johnny, Maurice, Paddy and Jim, sisters Bridget, Alice and Nora.
Sadly missed by her loving and caring daughter Mary (Riordan), loving sons Dan and Liam, her cherished grandchildren Jack, Katelyn, Sophie and Grace, her brother William and sisters Peggy and Kitty, son-in-law John and daughter-in-law Louise, brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews, neighbours, family and friends.
Reposing at Riedy’s Funeral Home, Newcastle West on Friday, January 9 from 6pm until 8pm and arriving at Monagea Church at 8.30pm. Funeral Mass will be on Saturday morning, January 10 at 11.30am with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.
