Mary passed away peacefully in the care of staff at St John's Hospital Limerick on January 2, 2026.
Predeceased by her parents William and Alice, son Thomas, brothers Rev Fr. Andy and John. Nieces Alice and Mary, son-in-law Tom Cummins.
Sadly missed by her loving family, adoring husband Dan, beloved mother to Patricia, Liam, Anne and Donal, sister to Hannah and Con, Son-in-law Paul Power, Daughters-in-law Patricia Cahill and Anne Sheehy, cherished grandmother to Serena, Mark, Zara, Zoe, Daniel, Anthony and Liam, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.

Mary will be reposing at Davern's funeral home, Hospital, Co. Limerick, V35 XV96 this Sunday evening, January 4 from 5:30pm until 7pm.

Mary passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the care of the staff of the University Hospital Limerick on January 1, 2026.
Predeceased by her loving husband Gerard (Gerdie) Murphy, her brother Dave Loughane, and her parents Jackie and Josie Loughnane.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family, son Ian Murphy, daughter Georgina (O’Connor) Pallasgreen, daughter-in-law Catherine Cremin, son-in-law Padraig O’Connor, grandson Ben, granddaughters Roisin and Maisie, sister Margaret Loughnane, brothers Johnny and Jim Loughnane, Uncle Dave McMahon, Uncle-in-law Larry O’Connell, cousins, other relatives, kind neighbours and good friends.

On Thursday, January 1, 2026, Carmel passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family, after an illness borne with great dignity and courage.
Pre-deceased by her husband Jimmy and their beautiful baby, brothers Christy , Willie, Tony , Francy, Dan Joe and sister Lucy Barr , parents Tom and Margaret Aherne and daughter -in -law , Simone Magner.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sons, John, Gerard, Declan and Thomas and loving daughter Miriam , sisters Nuala Darcy and Imelda Higgins , adored grandchildren, Cian , James , Caoimhe , Ronan , Cormac , Anna, Anais , Tarquin ,Regina, James, Norah and Miriam, great- grand children , son -in -law, Don Flynn, daughter-in-law, Caroline Munds, brothers-in-law, George Barr and John Higgins, nephews, nieces, cousins,relatives and wonderful friends and neighbours.
