RIP: Limerick deaths and funeral details, Sunday, November 16

Deaths in Limerick: Tuesday, March 12, 2024

The death has occurred of John Quinlivan, Knockacraig, Dromcollogher, County Limerick.

Peacefully on 15th November 2025 at Cork University Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. 

Predeceased by his baby son Donnacha, baby daughter Geraldine, brothers Mossie, Peter, Ned and Jim. Sadly missed by his loving wife Kathleen, sons Jonathan and Robert, Robert's partner Sarina, grandchildren J.D., Alex and James, sisters Mary, Eileen and Kathleen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Rest in Peace

Reposing at Sextons Funeral Home, Broadford on Monday 17th November from 6pm with Removal at 8pm to the Church of Our Lady of the Snows, Broadford. Requiem Mass on Tuesday 18th November at 12 noon, which will be live-streamed (link to follow). Burial in Springfield Cemetery.

Ann Hennessy (née Downey), Ardrine House, Knockbrack, Abbeyfeale, Co. Limerick and formerly of Church Street, Abbeyfeale, passed away peacefully at home following a brief illness in the care of her loving husband and family on Saturday the 15th of November 2025.

Ann is predeceased by her parents Timothy and Mary, brothers Michael, Seán, Noel and recently Liam, brother- in- law Tom Hennessy, sister- in- law Mary and nephew Noel Downey.

Ann is very sadly missed by her loving husband Kevin, her children Tim, Elaine, Fergal, and Louise, daughters-in-law Noreen and Grainne, sons-in-law Pat and Tom, cherished grandchildren Lauren, Noah, Ben and Ella, her brother-in-law Joe and sister-in-law Breda Hennessy, nieces, nephews, neighbours and her many friends.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing at Harnett’s Funeral Home, The Square, Abbeyfeale (V94 AK44) on Tuesday the 18th November from 6.00 p.m. until 8.00 p.m. Funeral cortège will depart Ann’s home on Wednesday the 19th of November en route to the Church of the Assumption Abbeyfeale to arrive for Requiem Mass for Ann at 11.00 a.m.

Interment afterwards in Reilig Íde Naofa, Abbeyfeale.
