The death has occurred of Luke Grimes
Of Chestnut Court, Kennedy Park.
It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Luke Grimes, Chestnut Court, Kennedy Park, Limerick. Ex-Pike Rovers B team selector.
On September 24, 2025, peacefully, at home, surrounded by his loving family.
Sadly missed by his heartbroken parents Noreen and Derrick, sister Danielle, brother-in-law Jason, grandmother Bridie, nephew Harry, niece and goddaughter Sadie, aunts, uncles, extended relatives and a large circle of friends.
Pre-deceased by grandparents Martin and Jane O'Brien and Evelyn and Patrick Grimes.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Cross's Funeral Home, Gerald Griffin Street, Wednesday, October 1, from 3pm to 6pm.
Funeral will arrive Thursday, October 2, at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Roxboro Road, for requiem Mass at 11am.
House strictly private, on Tuesday please.
Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to a charity of your choice in memory of Luke.
Mourners are asked to wear soccer gear from your desired club in memory of Luke.

Of Roxtown Terrace, Old Clare Street, and formerly of Sean Heuston Place.
On September 25, 2025, peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family.
Pre-deceased by her beloved son Mark, brother Jimmy, sisters Mary, Lizzie and Rita.
Sadly missed by her loving husband Martin, daughters Sandra, Siobhan, Catherine, Elizabeth and son Paul, grandchildren Megan and husband Nick, Jamie, Dylan, Bailey, Nicole, Lauren, Ethan, Alex, Jack, Reece, Ellie, Saoirse, Rian, great grandchildren Mila, Joey, Jayden, Dylan and Louie, sons-in-law Cyril and Stephen, daughter-in-law Natalie, brother William, sisters Anne and Chrissie, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, other relatives, friends, neighbours and best friends Christina and Maggie.

Late of St Mary’s Park and director of Unity Gospel Choir Limerick. On September 24, 2025, after a short illness.
Beloved wife of Willie. Dearly loved mother of Vanessa, Graham, Amy, Sophie and August. Gretta will be very sadly missed by her loving daughter-in-law Lauren, her cherished grandchildren Ellie, Josh, Kate, Logan, Dylan, Molly-Mae and Maddison, brothers Gus, Simon and Scott, sisters Allison and Tracey, her best friends Hazel and Ger, nephews, nieces, extended family and a wide circle of friends. Predeceased by her son-in-law Donal.

The death has occurred of Leo McGrath
Of The Gate Lodge, Glenstal Abbey, Murroe
Leo passed peacefully in the University Hospital Limerick on September 25, 2025 surrounded by his brother and close friends. He will be forever missed by his brothers and sister, Murray, Declan, Timothy OSB, and Bruinsha. His sisters in law Mary and Mary, nephews, nieces and treasured circle of close friends.
Leo's funeral Mass will take place on Sunday, September 28, at 11.30 in the Church of the Holy Rosary, Murroe, followed by private cremation.
