The death has occurred of John Howard, Camberwell, London and formerly of Old Limerick Road, Charleville, Co Cork.
On Sunday 22nd June, 2025, John passed peacefully from this life, following a courageous battle with illness.

Beloved husband and cherished father, Michael Counihan, passed away on 5th July, peacefully at the Mater Private Hospital, surrounded by his family, late of Adare, Co. Limerick and Faha, Killarney, Co. Kerry.
Predeceased by his parents Tom and Mary Ellen and baby son Liam.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Maria (O’Shea) his daughters Niamh (Hyde), Aoife (Counihan Murphy) and Muireann (McCormick); his sons-in-law Michael, Francis and Brian; his grandchildren Michael John, Síomha, Eilín, Neil, Cúán, Seán and Baby Fiadh; sister, Breda; brothers, Donal, Gerard (John) and Jim, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, former colleagues at the ESB, friends of Adare Manor Golf Club and Lantern Bridge Club.
The family would like to thank Dr. Pat Morrissey and all at the Adare Medical Centre; the doctors, nurses and all the staff of the Mater Private and Public Hospitals, including Dr. Waseem Darwish, Prof. Daniel Cagney, Mr. Gregory Nason and Ms. Ailín Rogers; Dr. Liam Casserly and his team in UHL, and the team at Collins Pharmacy Adare for all the care and support they gave to Michael.
