RIP: Limerick deaths and funeral details, Thursday, May 22

The death has occurred of John Foley of Sycamore Drive, Kilmallock and formerly of Ahern's Shop, Emmet Street, Kilmallock.

Passed away, peacefully, at home on Wednesday, May 21.

Predeceased by his father John, mother Catherine, brother Jimmy and sisters Eileen and Betty.

Beloved uncle to Leonard John, Marie and Anne, cherished grand uncle to Annabel and Harry. John will be sadly missed by his loving family, cousins, lifelong friends and his wonderful neighbours who meant so much to him.

Reposing at McCarthys Funeral Home Kilmallock on Saturday, May 24 from 7pm to 8pm, followed by evening prayers at 8pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Sunday, May 25 in S.S Peter and Paul's Church Kilmallock, at 11am followed by burial in Kilmallock Cemetery.

Family flowers only please.

The death has occurred of Michael Keogh of Valley View, O'Malley Park, Limerick city and formerly of Fedamore. Late member of Fedamore GAA Club.

Passed away, peacefully, at University Hospital Limerick, surrounded by his family, on Wednesday, May 21. 

Predeceased by his loving wife Patricia and granddaughter Lydia Patricia.

Very deeply regretted by his son Darren, Darren's partner Stephanie, grandsons Sean, Darren and Michael, great grandchildren Paxton and Piersleigh, brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, other relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Cross's Funeral Home, Gerald Griffin Street, Saturday, May 24, from 2.30pm to 4pm.

Funeral will arrive on Sunday, May 25, at the Holy Family Church Southill, for Requiem Mass at 12pm, funeral afterwards to Bruree (new) Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Pauline Scanlan née Kennedy of Fanningstown, Crecora and formerly of Kilderry.

Pauline passed away, peacefully, in the wonderful care of all at the University Hospital Limerick, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, May 21.

Beloved wife of the late John and sister of the late Michael, John, Louis, Sr Margaret Mary, Nora and Sr Helen (Lillie).

Sadly missed and fondly remembered by her loving daughter Helen (Lynch), son-in-law Liam, adored grandsons Kieran and Darragh, sister-in-law Helen, nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, relatives, kind neighbours and her friends.

Reposing this Friday evening, May 23 at St John the Baptist Church (Eircode V35 EW89) Fedamore from 6pm with evening prayers at 7.30pm.

Pauline’s funeral mass will take place on Saturday, May 24 at 12.30pm with burial afterwards in the Old Cemetery, Crecora.

The death has occurred of William (Bill) Murray of Castlequarter, Coosan, Athlone, Co Westmeath and late of Cork and formerly of Co Limerick.

Passed away, peacefully, in the tender care of the nurses and staff of St Francis Hospice, Raheny, Dublin, on Thursday, May 22.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Eithne and his son Donald. Sadly missed by his loving daughter Christine, sons Alan, Brendan and Michael, son-in-law Val, daughters-in-law Yolanda, Helen and Lena, brother Michael, brother-in-law Sean, his adoring grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, in-laws, relatives and many friends.

Reposing at Flynn's Funeral Home, The Strand on Friday evening from 7pm until 8pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday in Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Coosan at 1pm followed by burial afterwards in Coosan Cemetery.

House private please.

No flowers please. Donations if desired in lieu to St Francis Hospice, Raheny, Dublin.
