The death has occurred of Laura Noreen Fitzgerald (née Vaughan)

Cush, Martinstown, Kilmallock, Limerick

Our beautiful Mum, Laura Fitzgerald passed away on 24th June 2024. Originally from Cush, Martinstown Kilmallock, County Limerick, Ireland. Pre-deceased by her father Patrick and mother Victoria Vaughan. Survived by her children - Ian, Denis, Victoria, Paul and Christina together with her ten grandchildren Angelina, Jimmy, Alfie, Erin, Forrest, Willow, Oliver, Gerry, Maggie and Jonny. Laura also will be blessed with two further grandchildren in the coming months.

Laura is the treasured cornerstone of the entire family and she is deeply mourned by all who knew her. She is fondly remembered as a shining beacon of light in all of our lives and her children, Ian, Denis, Victoria, Paul and Christina, and her brothers and sisters would like to invite you to celebrate her life.

For those who can’t attend, we understand and know you are there with us all in spirit. If you cannot make it on the day please feel free to join us on live link OR here.

4pm - 7pm - Funeral Home. Should you wish to visit our Mum, please be advised that you may attend Co-Op Funeralcare, 60-62 Shenley Road, Borehamwood WD6 1DS on Wednesday 17th July between the hours of 4 - 7pm. Please do not feel under any pressure to do this, it’s a personal choice.

Thursday 18th July 2024

1pm at St Teresa the Child of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, 291 Shelley Road, Borehamwood WD6 1TG. Committal immediately afterwards at Allum Lane Cemetery, Allum Lane, Borehamwood, WD6 3NL.

We hope you can join us for a celebration of our Mums life, gathering at Aldenham Golf & Country Club, Church Lane, Radlett WD25 8NN. 4pm onwards.

The death has occurred of Brian Flynn

Sooreeny, Sixmilebridge, Co. Clare

On June 29th 2024, peacefully, at Beaumont Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Sadly missed by his heartbroken parents Richard and Maeve (Née Lacey), his adoring brother James and sister Jennifer, grandmother Maureen Flynn, uncles, aunts, cousins and his large circle of friends.

Reposing at McMahon’s Funeral Home, Sixmilebridge [V95PR20] on Wednesday, July 3rd, from 6pm to 7.30pm.

Humanist Service will take place on Thursday, July 4th, at 12pm in Shannon Crematorium.

The death has occurred of Anne Holmes (née Ryan Darby)

Ballyfreen, Oola, Co. Limerick, July7 1st 2024, Anne. Pre-deceased by her husband Denis (Densie), brother Michael and sister Pauline. Sadly missed by her son Don, daughters Elaine and Fiona, grandchildren James, Aoife, Emma, Olivia, Daniel, Amy and Lucy, sons-in-law Andrew and John, daughter-in-law Síle, brother J.J and Pat, sisters Geranine and Breeda, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and extended family and friends.

Rest in Peace. 

Reposing at Whelan's Funeral Home, Bansha Road, Tipperary on Wednesday evening, July 3rd, from 6pm to 8pm. Mass for Anne will take place in The Church of The Sacred Heart, Oola on July 4th 2024 at 11.30am and burial afterwards in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Oola.

The death has occurred of Maureen Leonard (née Bartley)

Castle-Erkin, Pallasgreen, Co. Limerick and formerly of Grange Cross, Boher, Co. Limerick. Ex Teaching Staff of VEC

On July 1st 2024, peacefully, in her 96th year, at home surrounded by her loving family.

Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Paddy, parents Laurence and Mary Anne and her siblings Pat, Stephen and Joan (Carroll).

Very deeply regretted by her loving sons and daughter John, Aileen and Stephen, daughter-in-law Denise, Stephen’s partner Paula, her grandchildren Leanne, Brian and Lisa, their partners and her great-grandchildren Darren, Elise, Grace, Lily and Faye, her sister Bernie (O’Neill), nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Cross’s Funeral Home, Ballyneety [V94 A7Y3] on Wednesday, July 3rd, from 6pm to 8pm, followed by removal to Arch Bishop Dermot O’Hurley Memorial Church Caherline [V94H7Y2]

Requiem Mass on Thursday, July 4th, at 12pm, funeral afterwards to Inch St. Lawrence Cemetery, Caherconlish.

 A sincere thank you to Maureen’s carers Emily and Megan, G.P. Dr. Margaret Sheehan, Edel from the Milford Home Care Team, Public Health Nurses Catriona and Kathlyne and Fr Roy Donovan P.P. for their care and compassion to Maureen throughout her illness.

Prospect, Limerick and formerly of Bolton, England

Peacefully at University Hospital Limerick In the excellent care of the High Dependency Unit & Ward 8 D

Beloved husband to Breda, father to Paul & Kathryn.

Much loved grandfather to Kyle, Elliott, Abigail, Holly and Eithan, father-in-law to Brian and Tracy, brother and uncle.

Sadly missed by extended family and friends.

A ceremony of celebration of Kevan’s life will take place in Shannon Crematorium, Illaunmanagh, Shannon, Co. Clare V14 PV30 on Thursday 4th of July at 1pm.

The death has occurred of Carmel Webb (née Siney)

Caherdavin, Limerick and formerly Raheen, Limerick. July 1st 2024, peacefully at Corbally House Nursing Home, Limerick.

Sadly missed by her children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

May Carmel rest in eternal peace.

Reposing at Thompsons Funeral Home, Thomas Street on Friday (5th July) from 5pm to 6.30pm. Funeral arriving at St, Nessan’s Church, Raheen on Saturday (6th July) for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by Cremation Service in Shannon Crematorium at 1pm.
