Deaths in Limerick: Sunday, June 23, 2024

The death has occurred of Donie Ryan, Cooga, Doon, Limerick.

June 23rd 2024, peacefully at University Hospital Limerick.

Predeceased by his wife Mary. Sadly missed by his loving sons William and Donal, daughter Margaret, brother Jerry, sister Eileen, daughters-in-law Stephanie and Sabrina, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, grandchildren Luke, Cormac, Meabh and Sulis Maia, nieces, nephews, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Rest in peace.

Reposing at Whites Funeral Home Doon (V94 D450) Monday evening (24th June) from 5.30 pm with removal at 7.30 pm to St. Patrick’s Church Doon. Requiem Mass Tuesday at 11.30 am with burial afterwards in Doon cemetery.

The death has occurred of Josephine (Jose) O'Connell, Caherelly, Grange, Kilmallock, Co. Limerick.

On June 22nd 2024, peacefully, after a brief illness, at Milford Care Centre, surrounded by her family.

Pre-deceased by her parents Patrick and Hanora, brothers Hugh, John and Pat.

Very deeply regretted by her brother Michael, sister-in-law Betty, nephews, nieces, other relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Cross’s Funeral Home, Ballyneety, on Tuesday, June 25th, from 5.30pm to 7pm, followed by removal to St. Ailbe’s Church, Ballybricken [V35 XD56] Requiem Mass on Wednesday, June 26th, at 11.30am, funeral afterwards to Caherconlish Church Cemetery [V94 H7Y2]

A sincere thank you to the Doctors, Nurse and Staff of the Oncology Unit, University Hospital Limerick, St. Michael’s Nursing Home, Caherconlish and Milford Care Centre for their exemplary Care of Josephine and to her kind neighbours and friends for their care and support to Josephine throughout her illness.
