The death has occurred of John David Bourke Limerick City, Limerick On March 31st 2024, passed away suddenly at home.

Pre-deceased by his sister Sylvia.

Missed by his heartbroken wife, Kathleen, son David, daughters Stephanie and Leah, mother Esther and father John, sisters, grandchildren, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Cross's Funeral Home, Gerald Griffin Street, on Wednesday, 3rd April from 3.30pm - 5.30pm followed by removal to St. Munchin's Church.

Requiem Mass on Thursday, April 4th, at 11am, funeral afterwards to Ballycannon Cemetery, Meelick, Co. Clare.

Clontarf, Dublin / Rathkeale, Limerick

Culhane James (Jim). Late of Clontarf and formerly of Rathkeale, Limerick. Peacefully, at home surrounded by his loving family. March 30th, 2024. Beloved husband of the late Betty. Loving father of Seamus, Julie and Liz. Predeceased by his brothers Michael, Jack and Ted. Sadly, missed by his children, daughter in law Sandra, grandchildren Katie, Daniel and Ella, brother Donnie, sister Betty, nephew, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing Wednesday at Staffords Funeral Home, North Strand from 5 o’c to 7 o’c. Removal Thursday to St Anthony’s Church, Clontarf arriving at 9:50 for 10 o’c mass. Funeral afterwards to Dardistown Cemetery.

On March 30th 2024, suddenly, at his residence.

Very deeply regretted by his loving wife Susan, daughters Jessica and Sinéad, father Michael, sister Ronnie, brother Martin, brothers-in-law Tom, Des, Gary and Colin, sisters-in-law Denise, Claire, Theresa and Elaine, father-in-law Michael Tuite, nieces, nephews, the extended Clancy and Tuite families and his many friends.

The death has occurred of Eileen Kearney (nèe Francis) of Ballynash, Foynes, Co. Limerick and late of Lahesrough, Ballybunion on Monday, 1st of April 2024. Predeceased by her husband Paddy. Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family and the wonderful staff of St. Catherine's Nursing home Newcastle West.

Deeply regretted by her son Dan and her daughter Anne, sisters Nora McDermott and Anne Foran, daughter in law Bernie, brother in law Mossie Kearney, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.,

Reposing at Madigan's Funeral Home, Shanagolden this Friday, 5th of April 2024, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm with removal to Shanagolden Church. Requiem Mass on Saturday on 6th of April at 12 noon followed by burial afterwards to the local cemetery.

The death has occurred of Elizabeth Lelia Catherine Maguire (née O'Connor)

Donnybrook, Dublin / Dooradoyle, Limerick

Maguire, Elizabeth Lelia Catherine (nee O’Connor) late of Donnybrook and Dooradoyle, Limerick in Adelaide, South Australia on 22nd March 2024. Elizabeth passed away peacefully surrounded by her family after a lengthy battle with illness. She will be greatly missed by her loving husband Nathan, children Finn and Eva, her mother Muriel and father Joe, sisters and brothers David, Janette, Deirdre, Robert, Joseph, their families and her friends and work colleagues.

A private viewing will be held on Wednesday, 3rd April, followed by cremation in Adelaide.

A memorial mass will be held later this year in Ireland to celebrate Elizabeth's life.

Mary McDermott (née Thompson) (Elm Place, Rathbane, Limerick) 1st April 2024, peacefully at University Hospital Limerick. Beloved wife of the late David. Dearly loved mother of Shane. Sadly missed by her adored grandchildren Áilish, Sadhbh and Dáithí, great grandchildren Jake and Naomi, Shane’s partner Sam, daughter-in-law Ruth, grandson-in-law Michael, Sadhbh’s partner Mark, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her brothers Jimmy, Ray and Jackie.

Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street on Thursday April 4th from 4.30pm to 6pm. Arriving at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Janesboro on Friday April 5th for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by cremation service in Shannon Crematorium at 1pm.
