The death has occurred of Pat Dawson

Dawson, Pat, Mountshannon Road, Lisnagry, Co. Limerick and formerly of Woodlawn Park, Limerick, Aer Rianta Shannon, former secretary Treaty Sarsfield and Ahane GAA July 6, 2023 peacefully at his home.

Predeceased by his brother Joe. Sadly missed by his loving wife Kathleen (Nee Cosgrave), sons Timmy and Shane, daughter Syreeta, daughter in law Fiona, son in law Finbar, his adored grandchildren, Tara, Niamh , Donal and Cian, sister Marie, brothers in law, Bill, Timmy, Eamon and Paul, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at Meehan’s Funeral Home Castleconnell on Sunday July 9 from 6pm to 8pm with removal to St. Joseph’s Church Castleconnell.

Requiem Mass on Monday July 10 at 11.30am, which can be viewed on www.castleconnellparish.ie, burial afterwards in Kilmurry Cemetery, Castletroy. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Newport Day Care Centre.

The death has occurred of Martin Corbett.

Corbett, Martin, Rockspring Gardens, Ennis Road, Limerick, formerly An Garda Síochána and Clonbur, Co. Galway, peacefully, in Milford Care Centre, surrounded by his loving family, on July 6, 2023.

Beloved husband of Rita and dearest father of Mary (Nash), Carol, Eleanor (O’Connell) and the late Niall. Sadly missed by his loving wife and daughters, his sons-in-laws Mick and Simon, daughter-in-law Carolyn, adored grandchildren Jenifer, Eva, Daniel, Alison, Barry, Joseph, Brian, James, Laura and Lauren, his brother Johnny, sisters Bridie (twin) and Evelyn, extended family and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at Griffin’s Funeral Home, John’s Gate on Sunday July 9 from 4.30pm to 6pm. Funeral arriving at St. John’s Cathedral on Monday July 10 for Requiem Mass at 11am, followed by burial in Kilmurry Cemetery. Mass will be live streamed here.

The death has occurred of John Quinn

John Quinn, (Ballynanty Road, Limerick. Former Mayor of Limerick (1992-1993). Late of DJ O’Malley & Co. Solicitors, Glentworth Street, July 6, 2023, peacefully at St. Camillus' Hospital.

Beloved husband of the late Kathleen. Dearly loving father of Gina (Harney), John, Dermot, Niall, Brendan and Paul.

Sadly missed by his adored grandchildren Aoife, Aisling, Tom, James, Senan, Sadhbh, Jack, Uladh, Molly, Erin and Darragh, great-grandchild Abby, son-in-law Aidan, daughters-in-law Linda, Marcella and Moira, Dermot’s partner Susan, his sisters-in- law Etta, Jo and Bridie, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours. 

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at Thompson's Funeral Home, Thomas Street (V94 FT85) on Monday (July 10) from 5.30pm  to 7pm, followed by removal to St. Lelia’s Church, Kileely Road (V94 X8W6).

Requiem Mass will be held on Tuesday (July 11) at 11am, followed by burial in Mount St. Lawrence Cemetery (Behind V94 D5D3).

Keane Street, Killalee, Limerick and late of Corbally House Nursing Home.

On July 6, 2023, peacefully, at Corbally House Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family. 

Very deeply regretted by her loving husband Christopher (Joseph), sons Gerard, Christy, Martin and Raymond, daughter Carmel, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, nephews, nieces, other relatives, friends and kind neighbours.

Reposing at Cross's Funeral Home, Gerald Griffin Street, on Sunday, July 9, from 3.30pm to 5.00pm. 

Funeral will arrive on Monday, July 10, at St. Patrick's Church Dublin Road, for Requiem Mass at 11am, funeral afterwards to Mount St. Lawrence (extension) Cemetery.

Tait Court, Lord Edward Street and late of Kickham Avenue, Prospect and Ex 12th Infantry Battalion Sarsfield Barracks 

July 7, 2023 (peacefully) at St John's Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his wife Mary.

Very deeply regretted by his loving sons Joe and Lloyd, daughters Lorraine and Sonya, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, sisters Maura, Sylvia and Valerie, brother Gerry, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.

Geraldine O’Loughlin, (nee Dillon) (Lower Carey’s Road, Limerick. Formerly of O’Donoghue Avenue, Janesboro) July 7, 2023 peacefully at Limerick University Hospital.

Beloved wife of the late Anthony. Dearly loved mother of Kenneth, Patricia, Darren and Catherine. Sadly missed by her loving sons-in-law Mark and Eoin daughters-in-law Pamela and Dominie, adored grandchildren Molly, Lily, Darragh, Dylan, Seraleigh, Kellie, Caelan, Emily and Rían, sisters Jean, Mary, Vera and Phil, brothers John, Brendan and Paul, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

May she rest in peace.
