Deaths in Limerick: Thursday, June 22, 2023

The death has occurred of Philip Kelly, late of Brothers of Charity, Bawnmore, Limerick and Coolcroo, Two Mile Borris, Thurles, Co. Tipperary, on June 22nd 2023.

Peacefully in his home Bród Lodge, Bawnmore. Predeceased by his parents Tommy and Mary, brothers Liam and Tim, sister Eileen.

Survived by his brother Tom, his sisters Mary, Joan, Noeleen, Patsy, Bridget, Lilly and his extended family.

Philip will be forever missed by his friends, nurses, careers and all in The Brothers of Charity Services. 

Reposing in his home Bród Lodge, Bawnmore, Limerick, V94 A9DTon Friday, 23rd June, from 3pm to 5pm, Requiem mass on Saturday, 24 June, at 11:30am in Our Lady of Limerick Church, Bawnmore V94 HT62 followed by burial in Two Mile Borris Cemetery, Thurles, Co. Tipperary arriving approx at 2:15pm.

For those who are unable to attend, Philip's Requiem Mass will be streamed live.

The death has occurred of Margaret (Peggy) PRENDERVILLE (née O'Byrne), Sarsfield Avenue, Garryowen, Limerick.

Margaret died peacefully, in the loving care of the staff at Athlunkard Nursing Home, Corbally, Limerick on 22nd June 2023.

Sadly missed by her loving children, Pat, John, Michael, Eileen, Richard, Margaret & Annette, her sisters and brothers, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, kind neighbours & many friends. 

Reposing at Griffin’s Funeral Home, John’s Gate on Sunday, 25 June, from 4pm to 5:30pm. Arriving at St. John’s Cathedral on Monday, 26th June, for Requiem Mass at 11:00am, streamed live here.

Funeral afterwards to Mount St. Lawrence Cemetery (Ext).

Flowers welcome or donations, if desired, to the Alzheimer Society of Ireland.

The death has occurred of Eileen Randles, Rathfarnham, Dublin / Kilmallock, Limerick.

Peacefully surrounded by her loving family and in the wonderful care of Highfield Healthcare and previously Annabeg Nursing Home.

Eileen, beloved sister of Gertrude, Anne and the late Paddy, Claire and Mary, adored aunt of Eileen, Julie, David, Stephen, Honor, Niall and Donn and all her grand nieces and nephews, sadly, and lovingly missed by all her family, extended family and friends. 

Funeral Mass on Monday, 26 June, at 10am in Church of the Annunciation, Rathfarnham, followed by cremation at Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold's Cross at 12:15pm. For those who cannot attend the service you can view the mass live by clicking here. To view the Cremation service, please click here.
