Limerick Deaths: Sunday, April 30, 2023

The death has occurred of Anthony (Tony) Dumas, Ballynanty Road, Limerick City, and formerly of Haren, Groningen, the Netherlands, late of E.I. Shannon, Krups and Marine Transport.

29th April 2023, peacefully at St. Camillus Hospital. Beloved husband of Phyllis. Dearly loved father of Antoinette, Geraldine, Fiona, Connie and Sabrina. Sadly missed by his loving sons-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers sisters, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

May he Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street on Tuesday (2nd May) evening from 5pm to 6.30pm.

Funeral arriving at St. Lelia’s Church on Wednesday (3rd May) for Requiem Mass at 12 noon followed by Cremation Service at Shannon Crematorium at 2pm.

Family flowers only, donations if desired to Milford Care Centre.

The death has occurred of Mairead Flanagan, Westflields, North Circular Road, Limerick.

29th April 2023, peacefully at Maria Goretti Nursing Home. Beloved daughter of the late Seamus and Margaret. Dearly loved sister of Rose, Una, Gerard, Kevin and Paul. Sadly missed by her loving brother-in-law Ruairi, sister-in-law Linda, nephews Eoin and Matthew, nieces Siomha, Beibhinn and Deirdre, extended family and friends.

Funeral arriving at Our Lady of Rosary Church, Ennis Road, on Wednesday (3rd May) for Requiem Mass at 11am with burial afterwards in Old Mungret Cemetery.

The death has occurred of John Moore, Abbeyview, Adare, Limerick.

Peacefully at home, on 30th April 2023, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his wife Margaret (Mags) ,sisters Eileen, Joan and Sr. Anna Patricia.

Sadly missed by his loving son George and daughter Mary, brother Mick, sister-in-law Nancy, nephews, nieces, relatives, great neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

May His Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

Reposing at his residence in 52 Abbeyview, Adare (V94EE7F) this Monday evening, May 1st, from 5pm to 7pm. Arriving at The Holy Trinity Abbey Church, Adare, on Tuesday for 12 noon Requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in St. Nicholas' Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Michael Williams, Caragh Avenue, Caherdavin Park, Limerick & member of Shannon & Kilkee Golf Clubs.

Michael passed away peacefully, after a brief illness, surrounded by his family, in the tender care of Milford Care Centre.

Sadly mourned by his loving wife Brigid, children John, Barbara (O’Connell) & Claire (Kennedy), daughter-in-law Sinéad, sons-in-law Adrian & Patrick, grandchildren Adam, Rian, Aoife, Evan, Darragh, Oisín, Chulainn, Alice, Ella & Áine, by his brothers Tony, Junior & Christy, sisters Ann & Catherine, extended family, kind neighbours & many friends.

Reposing at Griffin’s Funeral Home, John’s Gate on Tuesday, 2nd May from 5pm to 6:30pm. Arriving at St. Munchin’s Church, Clancy Strand on Wednesday, 3rd May for Requiem Mass at 2pm. Funeral afterwards to Shannon Crematorium.
