The death has occurred of Alphonsus (Phonsie) Clifford

Of Well Park, Garryowen

On April 27, 2023 (peacefully) at Millbrae Lodge, Nursing Home, Newport.

Pre-deceased by his wife Kathleen and his son-in-law Michael.

Very deeply regretted by his children Denis, Philip, Richard, Dolores Woodland and Jimmy, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, daughters-in-law Carmel, Patricia, Sarah and Sarah, nephews, nieces, other relatives, friends in particular those in the athletics circle.

Funeral will arrive on Tuesday, May 2, at St John's Cathedral for requiem Mass at 11.00am, funeral afterwards to Mount St. Oliver Cemetery

Reposing at Cross's Funeral Home, Ballyneety, on Sunday, April 30, from 5pm to 7pm, followed by removal to Our Lady, Mother of the Church, Caherconlish. Requiem Mass on Monday, May 1, at 11.30am, funeral afterwards in the adjoining churchyard.

On April 27, 2023, surrounded by her loving family in the excellent care of the High Dependency Unit at University Hospital Limerick.

Predeceased by her loving husband Michael (Mickey), sons Paddy, Tom and James, daughter Winnie, loving sisters, brothers and grandchildren.

Reposing at Kieran Madigan's Funeral Home, Main Street, Askeaton, on Sunday, April 30, from 3pm to 5.30pm. Arriving at St Mary's Church, Askeaton, at 6pm. Requiem Mass on Monday, May 1, at 12noon followed by burial afterwards in Reilig Mhuire Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Fredrick John Herriott

Of Dun Laoghaire, Dublin, born in Limerick

Died peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on April 27, 2023. He is dearly missed by his beloved wife Joan, children Aaron, Tuireann, Fionn, Oisín, Liadain, Conn and Faelan, daughters-in-law, Amie, Dana and Julia, grandchildren Beatrix, Alaric, Freya, Oswin, Hans, Bran, Alfred, Maé, Aoife, Saibh, Tor, Coco and Karl, his cherished sister Margaret and his sheepdog and faithful companion Rooskey, as well as a parishful of pals. A faithful friend to many, he encouraged us, as a family, to "believe mightily, hope joyfully and love divinely".

Off to meet his maker now.

Removal Tuesday, May 2 to St. John's SSPX Church, Dun Laoghaire arriving at 5.30pm. Funeral Mass Wednesday May 3, 11am, followed by Burial in Tomacork Cemetery, Wicklow.

On April 27, 2023 peacefully in the loving care of Bawnmore.

Beloved son of Bobbie (Sarah) and the late Dr Ted. Dearly loved brother of Kerry and Mary (Ryan). Sadly missed by his brother-in-law Donal, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Requiem Mass will take place in Bawnmore Church, Bawnmore, V94 HT62 on Sunday, April 30 at 1pm. Cremation service in Shannon Crematorium on Monday, May 1 at 12noon.

On Wednesday April 26, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Pre-deceased by his parents James and Mary and sister Noreen

Sean will be very sadly missed by his heartbroken family, his wife Winnie, daughters Maeve (Jorgo), Una and Maura, son Seamus (Abbey), sisters Joan and Patsy, brothers, his twin Diarmuid, JJ and Pádraig, his adored grandchildren Dionysi, Sebastian, James, Conor, Fionn and Ashling. Mother-in-law Mary, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, all his extended family and many friends.

Reposing at the Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan, H12 RF78, on Saturday evening, April 29, from 5pm until 7pm. Removal on Sunday afternoon to the Cathedral of Ss Patrick and Felim, Cavan, arriving for funeral Mass at 1.30pm, via Golf Links Road and Carrickane. Interment afterwards in St. Brigid’s Cemetery, Killygarry.
