GARDAI have launched an investigation after a gun attack at a house on the southside of Limerick city in the early hours of this Thursday morning.
A garda spokesperson said a firearm was discharged in front of a domestic residence in the John Carew Park area of Southill at approximately 5am this Thursday.

“No injuries have been reported at this time. The scene is currently being preserved for technical examination. Investigations are ongoing,” said a garda spokesperson.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to this incident to contact them.
“Any persons who were in Maigue Way, John Carew Park and the adjoining area between 4.45am and 5.15am this morning and who may have any information are asked to contact investigating gardaí.
“Anyone with camera footage (including dash-cam) is asked to make that footage available,” said a garda spokesperson.
