GARDAI are appealing for information following the theft of a valuable racing bike from a garage in Corbally.
Sergeant Michelle O’Halloran, Crime Prevention Officer Henry Street Garda Station commented:
"On the night of December 30th, a woman in her late 60s reported that her garage had been broken into, and her valuable road racing bike was stolen. Unfortunately, while the garage door was closed, it was unlocked."

The gardai are appealing to anyone in the area who may have seen anything suspicious to come forward and contact them at Mayorstone Garda Station on 061 4565980.
Sgt O'Halloran added that the start of the year is an ideal opportunity to assess the security features in place at your home and to consider upgrading them if necessary.
"Adding motion sensors, upgrading door locks, or installing security cameras can provide an extra layer of protection," concluded the local crime prevention officer. "We also recommend marking valuable items with unique identifiers, note serial numbers, taking photographs of items, this makes it easier for Gardai to return them if they are stolen and recovered."
