INVESTIGATIONS are continuing after two cars were stolen from outside a house in Shannon over the festive period.
In a renewed appeal for information, gardai say the burglary incident occurred sometime between 10.30pm on Friday, December 27 and 6am the following day.
According to gardai, the perpetrators gained access to a property in the Dun Aras estate by damaging the barrel in the front
door.
"During the course of this burglary the perpetrators stole two sets of keys and two vehicles were stolen from outside the property," said a spokesperson.
The two vehicles were a grey Volkswagen Passat and a white Audi A3, which has since been located in Limerick.
