All who attended this year’s Butterfly Ball were stunning, and the style was spectacular!
WE SPREAD our wings for this year’s Butterfly Ball, and together, went all-out in full glitz and glam at the Radisson Blu hotel!
This year was as beautiful as ever and it was a shining event for such a wonderful charity, that is the Mid-West Cancer Foundation.
A major high-profile annual occasion, this year’s Butterfly Ball didn’t disappoint.
It is always a true highlight of my social calendar and I attended with my husband Ger. It was a pleasure as always to meet the Mayor of Limerick, John Moran, among many others.
I attended the very first Butterfly Ball when it was established in 2007 and every year, it proves to be a truly magical event.

Like the elegant creature itself, the beautiful butterfly, some attendees shone brightly with an array of colours that lit up the room. While others, like myself, chose to don chic black or white rigouts.
I wore a black fishtail, puff-sleeve dress, with a sweetheart neckline and paired it with a drop earring and stiletto platform heels with gold-strappy detail.
Women of all ages attend the event and sequins is always on the menu!
The glamour every year is unmatched and the style never fails to blow me away, this year being no exception.
The champagne reception and classical music upon arrival sets the tone for the night perfectly, as hundreds of guests flock to the hotel.
The funds raised also didn't go unnoticed, and we were over the moon to celebrate the Foundation and the work that they do, helping cancer patients and their families beyond words.
Gifts and goodies were plentiful and, in true fashion, we struck a pose for the cameras!
Congratulations to all involved and organisers who always host a successful and memorable night, in aid of a true worthy cause.
