ALL domestic rugby fixtures scheduled to take place this weekend across Munster have been postponed.
Munster Rugby confirmed this Friday that 'due to the adverse weather conditions forecasted over the coming days, all domestic fixtures scheduled to take place in the province this weekend have been postponed.
"The fixtures affected include those due to take place on Friday January 3rd, Saturday January 4th and Sunday January 5th.
"Details of rescheduled dates for these fixtures will be communicated to clubs in due course.
"For any further queries, please contact your relevant competition co-ordinator."
An Status Orange warning for snow and ice has been issued by Met Eireann for six counties, including Limerick.
The warning will be in effect from 5pm tomorrow, Saturday to 5pm on Sunday and also includes counties Tipperary, Clare, Carlow, Kilkenny and Wicklow as well as Limerick.
A status yellow rain and snow warning has also been issued for Cork and Kerry. The warning is valid from 1pm on tomorrow, Saturday to 5pm this Sunday.
