THE fixture details have been confirmed for the semi-finals of this season's Bank of Ireland Munster Senior Challenge Cup.
Two Limerick clubs have made it through to the last four stage of the competition.
In the opening semi-final, Old Crescent will take on Clonmel in Takumi Park on Thursday, February 20 at 8pm. Both sides are vying for their first ever Munster Senior Challenge Cup title.
Old Crescent got their Munster Senior Challenge Cup underway with a tight contest against Cork side Dolphin who they defeated 31-26 in Takumi Park. They then went on to defeat East Cork side Midleton 14-24 in their second group fixture to secure their place in the top spot of group four.
In the second semi-final of this season's Munster Senior Challenge Cup, Young Munster will meet Nenagh Ormond in Tom Clifford Park on, Saturday February 22, kicking off at 2.30pm.
The game will be a repeat of the 2023 final when Munsters' emerged victorious. Munsters completed an historic three-in-a-row of Munster Senior Cup wins in the most dramatic fashion on that occasion as Conor Hayes' penalty goal with the last kick of the game earned a 27-24 victory at Thomond Park.
An upset looked on when Nenagh led 24-10 with just over 10 minutes remaining.
Young Munster earned the top seed in group two beating last year’s champions Garryowen 31-33 and following up with a victory over Leesiders UCC 49-24.
