CROOM Community Development Association has launched their annual Christmas craft market.

The market is in its third year and will be bigger and better than ever. Patricia Ryan of Croom Community Development Association (CCDA) noted that “this market has been very successful as the event brings together a great selection of crafters and artists from Clare, Tipperary, Cork and across county Limerick. There are artists such as Giuliana and Kay who are here today for the launch and they have art at affordable price points which make wonderful gifts at any time of year.”

Kathy Tiernan commented that “there was a great buzz at the craft market in 2023 in Croom as well as great sales!”

At the launch, Doreen Colin brought her beautifully scented Fernia Candles and Kay O’Donovan will be offering Christmas centre pieces at the market.

Edel Fitzgerald explained that the Croom Christmas Market will be held in Croom Sports Hall on Sunday, November 24 from 12pm to 4pm and there will be plenty of free parking spaces available.

Edel reminded everyone that “they will have mulled wine as well as sweet treats available, to get people into the Christmas spirit.”

Ms Ryan noted that the event is run by CCDA to support local artists and crafters and as a fundraiser for CCDA who operate the sports hall, Croom Town park and the Civic Centre. "Croom Christmas Market is a great way to spend a day in Croom, have breakfast or lunch in Aubergine restaurant and incorporate the market in to your Sunday out.”
