THE LIMERICK senior camogie team will get their 2026 Division 1B National League campaign underway against Down on February 14/15 at home. 

A week later, Limerick travel to Offaly in round two on February 21/22. The Shannonsiders then host their neighbours Clare in a local derby on February 28/ March 1. Limerick will finish off their Division 1B league campaign with a home clash against Wexford on March 14/15, followed by an away fixture against Dublin on March 21/22.

David Deady has replaced Joe Quaid as manager of the Limerick senior camogie team. A well known GAA referee, Deady has been involved with Granagh-Ballingarry camogie club and in recent years served as Limerick junior camogie manager.

He now steps into the senior role and will also assume the role of U23 manager for the 2026 season. His management team will include lead coach Brian Leahy, along with coaches Alan Kelly and Caitrín de Bhal.The S&C coaching will be under Darragh Murphy, while Paul Hogan will carry out the role of goalkeeping coach. 

Last year, Limerick finished in fifth place in Division 1B of the National League. Former inter-county hurler Joe Quaid stepped down after two years as camogie manager in September. In last year's the Limerick senior camogie narrowly missed out on qualifying for the knockout stages of the championship. Quaid's side recorded a victory over Wexford, played out a draw with Clare and suffered defeats to Cork and Tipperary during the championship.
