Limerick camogie clubs move on to Munster Championship

BOTH Newcastle West and Croagh-Kilfinny will move on to the Munster camogie championship after winning their respective Limerick County Finals.

Newcastle West will battle it out against Waterford side Gailltír on home grounds this Saturday at 2pm in the semi-final of the AIB Munster Senior Club Championship. The Magpies got the better of Ahane on their county final a few weeks back. They will be hoping to go one step better in the this year's Munster championship after losing out to Sarsfield's of Cork last year in the semi. 

Croagh-Kilfinny got the better of Cillard in the junior Munster Club Championship semi-final last weekend and have progressed on to the Munster final against Modeligo of Waterford on November 10, venue and time to be confirmed. 

Elsewhere the Limerick junior A and B finals will take place over the weekend with Doon and Blackrock-Effin battling it out junior A cup final on Sunday at 2pm, venue to be confirmed. The junior A plate final will also be contest on Sunday at the same time with Feenagh/Kilmeedy coming up against Mungret St Pauls.

Junior B cup and plate finals get going at 12pm on Sunday with Tournafulla and Ballyagran taking each other on in the cup and Ahane against Bruff in the plate. Venues for both finals are still to be confirmed.
