Summit organisers are calling the owners of technology focused small to medium sized enterprises, and those with ambitious businesses to come together for next year’s event.
They’ve said it’s not just about talks and tech — it’s about empowering Ireland’s business community to innovate, connect, and thrive.
The first staging of the Limerick IT Summit took place in March at the Dell Technologies campus at Raheen in March this year.
It was the brainchild of Christopher Heaney of WebDev Builders in conjunction with DSM, under the leadership of its chief executive Andrew Clohessy.
More than 20 other IT providers and businesses subsequently became involved.
The event was aimed at business owners interested in building out a suite of digital capabilities while discovering tailored insights and practical advice at each stage of the digitalisation journey.
The speaker line-up included Chamber chief executive Michelle Gallagher, Mayor John Moran, Tom King, An Gobha, Blacksmith of The Boyne, Samantha Kelly, The Tweeting Goddess and many more.
The half-day event was designed to educate, impart knowledge, experience and to foster collaboration through a range of networking opportunities.
Over 30 local businesses in the sector showcased their products and services at the event.
