Granite acquires Limerick-based data science agency Coalface

Deal signed for a seven figure sum

Granite acquires Raheen-based data science agency Coalface

COALFACE, a data science and digital company based in Raheen has been acquired by Granite, a digital agency with bases in Dublin, Galway, Cork and New York.

The tie-up will see Granite’s workforce grow to more than 145 digital specialists.

Its revenues are expected to exceed €18m next year.

A seven figure agreement, the deal is comprised of both cash and equity.

Adrian Feane, the chief executive of Coalface joins the Granite team as part of the acquisition.

Coalface manages more than €220m in annual online revenues across 68 countries.

Coalface worked alongside 20 blue-chip clients including Aer Lingus, An Post, Allianz Care, Laya Healthcare and Continental.
