Limerick basketball clubs shift focus to Domino's Super league and Division One League action

ALL four Limerick sides are in Domino's Super League and Division One League action this weekend as focus shifts back to league matters.

The Limerick Celtics Men's side will be looking to get back to winning ways following a heartbreaking overtime National Cup semi-final defeat to Ballincollig last weekend. 

Tony Hehir's fell to an agonising 70-67 defeat at the hands of their Munster neighbours at Neptune Stadium last weekend. 

The Celtics will be looking to bounce back in this weekend's Super League clash when they host EJ Sligo All-Stars at Crescent College on Saturday night, tip-off is at 7pm. 

The Limerick Celtics Women's side had the week off due to being knocked out at the quarter-final stage of the National Cup but Jordan Hehir's side will be looking to continue their fine Division One league form when they host Cleveland Rockets at Crescent College on Saturday at 4.45pm. 

The Limerick Sport Huskies, fresh off of a resounding National Cup semi-final win over Moy Tolka Rovers will also be looking to continue their impressive run of form in the Division One league when they travel to Kilkenny to face Clunetech Kilkenny Stars, tip-off at O'Loughlin Gaels is at 6pm on Saturday evening. 

The Limerick Sport Eagles, who also recorded an impressive National Cup semi-final win over Templeogue last weekend will be looking to bring that momentum into Division One league action this weekend when they host Tipp Talons at St Munchin's College this Saturday at 6pm.
