In the men's Super league, the Limerick Celtics will be hoping to carry their National Cup form into this weekend's clash at home to Griffith College Éanna.

Tony Hehir's side advanced to the semi-finals of the Super League National Cup last weekend with an impressive 112-89 win over St Vincent's of Dublin at Crescent College.

The Celtics will be hoping to continue that fine form when they welcome Griffith College to the UL Arena on Saturday night at 7pm.

In men's Division One action, The Limerick Sport Eagles take the long trip up north to face Ulster University at UUJ.

Like their Limerick Celtic counterparts, the Eagles are also in a cup semi-final of their own having reached the final four of the Division One National Cup after they defeated Carrick Cruisers 81-50.

Niall McDermott's side have been in impressive league form of late, boasting a 6-3 record after nine games played. That run of form leaves the Eagles on 18 points in the Division One table, three points adrift of table-toppers ND Audit Portlaoise Panthers.

Tip-off in UUJ on Saturday is at 4.45pm.

In women's Division One action, the Limerick Celtics will be looking to bounce back from their cup exit last weekend when they travel to the capital to face Abbey Seals Dublin Lions at Coláiste Bríde.

Jordan Hehir's side exited the competition after a 70-59 loss to Moy Tolka Rovers on Saturday evening but they will be looking to put that result behind them when they face the Lions on Sunday at 3.30pm.

Also in women's Division One action, the Limerick Sport Huskies, who also reached the final four of the women's Division One National Cup, travel to the capital to face Swords thunder on Saturday evening at 5.30pm.

Patrick O'Regan's side sit top of the table on 15 points heading into Saturday's clash and they will fancy their chances against a swords side who amassed just six points this season so far.
