In the Domino's Super League, the Limerick Celtics suffered 90-84 loss to St Vincent's of Dublin at Crescent College.

It is a third straight defeat for Tony Hehir's side in the Super League following losses to fellow Dublin-based sides Killester and UCD Marian.

Celtics only had four scorers in the game with Finn Hughes, AJ Williams and Abdul Wurie all scoring at least 20 points.

There will be a significant worry for Vincent’s as star guard Jaylyn Richardson had to be helped off the court due to an injury late in the fourth quarter.

For Celtics, their maiden Domino’s Men’s Super League season continues to challenge them, as they fall to tenth in the table with a record of 2-6.

Next up for the Celtics is a home tie against Munster rivals UCC Demons at the UL Arena on Sunday at 3pm.

In Domino's Men's Division One action, the Limerick Sport Eagles recorded an impressive 91-72 win over SPK Utility Trust Lakers at St Munchin's College.

It was a much-needed win for Niall McDermott's side who were on a run of 0-2 with losses against Maree and ND Audit Portlaoise Panthers in their last two outings.

It is a result that leaves the Eagles in a healthy fifth position in the league table on 15 points. Next up for the Eagles is a trip to Ballymakenny College to face Drogheda Wolves in Louth, tip-off is at 7.30pm on Saturday night.
