LIMERICK's Sarah Lavin got another pre Olympic boost over the weekend after winning the 100m Hurdles at the Morton Games in Santry.

The Emerald AC athlete set a new meet and stadium record with a 12.79 run. Lavin lead from the front of the race matching the second fastest time of her life just shy of the 12.71 she clocked in Stockholm last month, an automatic qualifier for the Paris Olympics.

This win is coupled with Sarah's impressive display at the Cork City Sports event a week previous where she also won the 100m hurdles in a time of 12.83.

All of these races are fantastic preparation for the upcoming Paris Olympics taking place the end of July.
