CHRISTMAS at Castle Oliver in Ardpatrick kicks off next week with performance by You Tube sensations Seo Linn.
The Lurgan band will take centre stage in the castle ballroom for a charity concert in aid of The Hope Foundation, which provides providing shelter, support and education to the street and slum children in Kolkata, India.
The concert will also welcome Santa and his Elves to the Castle and mark the start of Christmas at Castle Oliver, running each weekend over the festive season with fun and festivities for all ages.
The concert will launch the Castle’s first traditional outdoor Christmas market, which will feature wonderful stalls of arts, crafts and food and a spectacular light show by sponsors and lighting specialists LED Saver Ltd - plus visits to Santa himself!
Seo Linn, who shot to fame last year when they became an overnight sensation with over 2 million YouTube views in just one week for their stunning Irish language version of Avicii’s Wake Me Up, will perform on December 6 in the Castle, and singer Stiofan O’Farrell said the Lurgan band was “extremely excited” about the intimate gig.
“We are very excited to perform in the ballroom of this prestigious Castle, steeped in history,” he said. “It will be a fantastic night and we are really looking forward to it.”
Castle owner Emma Cormack said: We are thrilled that Seo Linn is launching Christmas at Castle Oliver. We are honoured to be able to see them in such an intimate location surrounded by history and we are looking forward to sharing this with our guests on the night.”
