The latest big act added to the bill last played in 2012
Electric Picnic has smashed the line-up for next September, with the return of a hugely popular pop rock band.
The Killers are to headline on Sunday night, returning to the Laois festival for the second time.
Huge songs like Mr Brightside and Somebody Told Me are sure to have the crowds belting out. The Killers are an American rock band formed in Las Vegas in 2001. They last played the in Stradbally in 2012.
The organisers made the big announcement ahead of the latest wave of tickets going on sale.
"The gift that keeps on giving!✨ Introducing our Sunday Headliner @thekillers to the #EP23 line up The very last tickets go on sale at 10am - GO!"
The latest wave of tickets went on sale Friday, December 9 2023.
Earlier this week Electric Picnic announced its first wave of 10 acts including Billy Eilish, Niall Horan and Lewis Capaldi, breaking tradition by also announcing which night the headliners are playing.
