Soap star Beverley Callard is joining the cast of RTÉ's Fair City.
The beloved actor, known for her unforgettable roles such as Liz McDonald in long-running UK soap Coronation Street and a short-stint on Emmerdale, will step into the role of Gwen Connolly's (played by Emily Lamey) long-lost mother Lily.
