WITH a trio of concerts happening in Thomond Park this weekend, here is all the information you need to know before visiting the venue.

First off, who’s playing? Friday, July 12 will see Snow Patrol take to the stage, with supporting acts Kingfishr and Pillow Queens. CMAT and Brógeal will open for Paolo Nutini on Saturday night, while Liam Gallagher will be supported by The Mary Wallopers on Sunday.

Gates will open at 5pm with the show beginning at 6pm. No early queuing or camping is allowed, with concertgoers being advised to be inside the venue 45 minutes before the show starts.

Collapsible chairs, bags larger than A4, umbrellas, cans, bottle caps, alcohol, garden furniture, selfie sticks, flares, flags/ banners larger than A3, professional cameras and audio recording equipment are all on the list of non-permissible items.

The event will take place “rain, hail or shine”, so make sure you dress for Irish weather. Wellies, ponchos and suncream are all recommended to suit the climate, but remember: no umbrellas!

Under 16’s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over 25, while under 5’s are not recommended to attend. Standing tickets are only available to people aged 14 or older and no under 16’s will be allowed on the pitch.

Walking, public transport and private coach services are recommended as traffic delays are inevitable and parking is limited.

Patrons of the concerts are asked to respect the neighbours by not littering, engaging in anti-social behaviour, or parking illegally.

You must enter through the gate outlined on your ticket. The Red/Green entrance off Knockalisheen Road will take East Stand, Gold Circle, Pitch and Premium ticket holders, while the Blue entrance on Cratloe Road will cater for the West Stand.

Ticket checks and security searches will take place at the entrances.

If you leave during the concert you will not be allowed to re-enter the venue, and concertgoers are asked not to rush to the exits after the concert is over.

If you need to collect your tickets, you can do so at the Ticketmaster box office, which will be located at the junction of Cratloe Road and Knockalisheen Road.
