Carlow influencer Lauren Whelan has confirmed she has split from her boyfriend Shane Morgan after several months together.
The pair who were recently on a holiday and enjoying their time in sunny Marbella, Spain have been trending on popular social media platfrom TikTok as fans wonder what was happening with the couple.
The influencer has broken her silence with a TikTok video addressing the situation despite "not feeling ready to."

Lauren said: "I didn't really want to make this video yet, I didn't feel like I was ready but I have just been seeing a lot of things being posted and I felt like I have to now. I understand people are curious but me and Shane are broken up. I don't really want to talk about how or why, I don't think I am ready to and that is why I have not been posting. My anxiety has been through the roof and it is something I have never really experienced before."
Lauren asked fans to be kind during this time saying: "I understand we put a lot of that online and I know people are curious but just be mindful if you are making comments and videos that I am human at the end of the day and still grieving a relationship like a normal person does."
Many fans have took to comfort Lauren in the comments, one user said: "Take care of yourself girl, time is the biggest healer."
Another user said: "Aww Lauren I hope your ok. I missed your videos, keep your chin up girl."
