Bridgerton star Nicola Coughlan ranks the best and worst Irish slang in a recent interview with Teen Vogue. 

Coughlan grew to fame for her role as Claire in hit comedy series Derry girls and more recently for her role as Penelope Featherington in the Netflix period drama.

Coughlan has ranked 'Ah stop' as the top Irish slang term but it came close to 'crack' topping the charts. 

Many fans have commented under the interview, explaining the word crack was spelt wrong. 

One user said: "I came here immediately to say it’s spelt craic."

Another user said: "Hahaha it’s craic not crack lol."

Bridgerton, season three, part one will air on Netflix on Thursday, May 16 and part two will air on Monday, June 13.
