The Tommy Tiernan Show saw a drop of 70,000 views
RTÉ saw ratings drop by the thousands over the Easter weekend as viewers opted to tune out of some of its biggest shows.
While The Late Late Show took a break last Friday night, the coveted slot was replaced by 2015 film Brooklyn, starring Saoirse Ronan, which was watched by an average of 237,000 viewers.
On Saturday night, The Tommy Tiernan show which usually rakes in an audience of around 400,000, saw a dramatic drop of nearly 70,000 views.
A spokesperson for the show said,
"The Tommy Tiernan Show on Easter Saturday had an average audience of 314,000 on RT One and RTÉ One +1 with a 33% share.
"There has been 25,000 streams of that episode to date on RTÉ Player."
Doireann Garrihy, Donncha O'Callaghan and Carl Mullan's The Full Irish Hidden Camera Show lost clost to 50,000 viewers on Sunday, compared to the week before, while Hugh Wallace's The Great House Revival saw a drop of nearly 80,000 viewers.
The wrong episode of Keys To My Life aired on Sunday night, as viewers were expecting to see Joan Burton they were shown the episode with Peter McVerry instead, with viewership dropping by approximately 40,000.
A Spokesperson for the show said,
"Keys To My Life featuring Peter McVerry on Easter Sunday had an average audience of 295,000 on RTÉ One and RTÉ One +1 with a 29% share."
