Ireland's Eurovision hopeful Bambie Thug has released the official music video for their song 'Doomsday Blue'.
The video was uploaded to YouTube this morning (March 8) at 9am, and it has already amassed over 20,000 hits in just two hours.
Featuring a dark beast, a book on fire, and a dream-like badminton match, the creative video has been met with widespread acclaim by the Eurovision fan community.
One fan commented: "Incredibly proud of this entry. Bambie has opened the door for alternative artists in Ireland and they are 100% qualifying this year. For me, Ireland is a safe bet for the final."
Another wrote: "We need this in the final! So original and creative. Well done Ireland."
"Our main mission this year is to make Ireland qualify so they don't go back to the safe formula of sending basic generic songs every year. They took a risk and we should reward them for once," wrote another fan.
A fan from Poland wrote: "Personally, I think that after Ireland's performance on the big stage in Malmo, everyone will have chills down their spines. From Poland."
A fan from the Netherlands also commented, stating, "I really hope Ireland will qualify this time, love and 12 points from the Netherlands."
