RTE Late Late Show guests tonight with bombshell interview confirmed

The latest episode of the RTE Late Late Show airs on RTE One television at 9.35pm this Friday night.

The weekly line-up has been kept largely under wraps to add a little mystery to the show for viewers since the new series began last year.

In previous years, the RTE press office announced the full line-up 24 hours ahead of air time on Friday.

This time around with new host Patrick Kielty at the helm, the only guests officially announced ahead of time have been Jean Claude Van Damme, Take That and Jamie Dornan who appeared two weeks ago in a pre-recorded interview.

Paul Mescal and Andrew Scott also appeared on that same show before a break from regular proceedings last week for the Ireland Eurosong special.

This week, producers have revealed that the son of Sophie Toscan du Plantier will appear on the show in the wake of the death of chief suspect for her murder Ian Bailey.

They have been tight-lipped about the rest of the line-up so viewers have to keep a close eye on the RTE Late Late and Patrick Kielty's social media channels for some hints.

Fans recently worked out that Conan O'Brien was on the show after Patrick Kielty posted a cryptic clue on social media. He was then also joined by Graham Norton on the sofa.

The Late Late Show airs on RTE One television at 9.35pm this Friday night, February 2.
