The National Lottery has confirmed that it will hold a special ‘Guaranteed to be won’ €1 million Lotto Plus Raffle this Saturday February 3.

This ‘guaranteed to be won’ prize will be added to the Lotto Plus Raffle which typically sees between 60 and 120 winners of €500 in every draw. The Lotto draw on Saturday February 3 will see one of these Raffle winners boost their winnings by an additional €1 million.

How do I enter the Lotto Plus €1 million Raffle event?

Every Lotto player who purchases a ticket with the Lotto Plus option included will be automatically entered into the Lotto Plus Raffle Draw.

How does the Raffle event work?

For every Lotto Plus line purchased, players get a four-digit Raffle number. Tickets with the Raffle number drawn will win €500.

For the Lotto draw on Saturday February 3, all Raffle winners will also be entered into a random draw with one player guaranteed to win €1 million in addition to the usual €500 prize.

Meanwhile Lotto players in Clondalkin in Dublin 22 are being encouraged to check their tickets very carefully today after one Southside player scooped an incredible €226,373 in last night’s draw.

The Dublin player matched five numbers and the bonus after purchasing their winning Quick Pick ticket on the day of the draw at Tuthills Newsagents in the Mill Shopping Centre in Dublin 22.

The winning numbers in the Wednesday January 31 draw were: 10, 14, 21, 28, 42, 46 and the bonus was 02.

The Match 5+Bonus winner, who now has a ticket worth €226,373, is advised to sign the back of their ticket and to make contact with the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to collect their prize at Lotto HQ.

The National Lottery have also confirmed that the Dublin winner who won last Saturday’s lifechanging Lotto jackpot worth €14,674,966 has made contact and arrangements are now being made for their prize to be paid. The winning Dublin ticketholder will officially become the 7th biggest Lotto jackpot winner in history after they purchased their ticket online.

Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage and the Irish Language.

In total, more than €6 billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was established 36 years ago. In 2022 alone, €259.5 million was raised for local Good Causes in communities across Ireland.
