The 2 Johnnies ‘Christmas Party’ at 3Arena the latest gig to sell out in seconds

Tickets for the popular 'Christmas Party' show by comedy podcast duo The 2 Johnnies have sold out in seconds.

Breaking their own record for the quickest sell-out of their podcast parties to date, the Tipperary duo sold out the show in just 30 seconds according to the promoters.

Tickets for the December 16 show went on sale at 9am this morning and fans eagerly got online to snap up tickets to what has become a regular date on the Christmas festivities calendar.

Following two sold out Three Arena shows and the runaway success of their very own Pints in a Field show at Musgrave Park last month, Johnny B, Johnny Smacks and the cast of Ireland’s most popular podcast are back at Three Arena on Saturday, December 16 for a very special Christmas Party.

Joining the lads on stage for some podcast madness and mayhem will be Producer Maura, Neil the Intern, Tour Manager James, Paddy Fong and of course Noel Furlong plus a hape of special guests.

"We don’t take a single ticket for granted, every person who’s gonna be in that arena on 16th December has parted with hard earned cash and their Saturday night and we’ll give them a show they’ll never forget," said Johnny B.

"We constantly try to find new ways to entertain and surprise people. Most of the time we blow the budget. Just can’t wait to get on stage and leave t all out there. Start the mixer, the craic will be had.’’

The 2 Johnnies Podcast, exclusively on Spotify, is Ireland’s number one podcast with over 100 million downloads, and  11 number one singles under their belt too.

If previous shows are anything to go by, the Christmas Party promises to be a night of music, chat, comedy and pints.
