Country music stars to gather in tribute to Louise Morrissey

A dazzling selection of country music starts will gather in the Claremorris Town Hall Theatre this Thursday (July 6) to celebrate with the legendary country singer Louise Morrissey on the 35th anniversary of her hugely successful career.

The multi-award winning artist, who hails from Bansha in County Tipperary, is admired and respected as one of Ireland's greatest female singers and performers.

Throughout her career she has toured with such American country music legends such at Charley Pride, Emmy-Lou Harris,
Willie Nelson and Kris Kristofferson.

Louise’s collection of hits are endless, spanning a career of 35 rewarding years. They include 'Slievenamon', 'Tipperary On My Mind', 'Flying Home To Aherlow', 'The Tear', 'The Cottage in the Country', 'September Sky', 'Circles', 'Come Down from the Mountain Katie Daly', 'All Around My Hat' and 'Islands in the Stream' and many more favourites.

She will be joined on the night by a star studded line up of friends such as Kathy Durkin, John Hogan, Frank McCaffrey, Clodagh Lawlor, TG4 Glór Tire winner Sean Fahey.

MC on the night will be Michael Commins. This will be a fun-filled, memorable celebration of Louise and her wonderful career so be sure to join in.

The show begins at 8.00pm and tickets can be purchased from the Claremorris Town Hall Theatre.
