The Great British Bake-Off, an Irish soccer star, comedy and award winning photos feature on this week's (March 3) Late Late Show with Ryan Tubridy on RTÉ 1.
Soccer player Amber Barrett will speak with host Ryan Tubridy about her magic goal against Scotland last October and her hopes for the Irish women's team as they take their place among the nations of the world at this year's World Cup.
Their first game will see them face the hosts Australia in front of 83,500 fans in Sydney.
The Great British Bake-Off judge, Prue Leith, will talk to Ryan about her incredibly successful career as a restaurateur, novelist, businesswoman and TV star. She’ll also discuss her recent documentary which explored the subject of assisted dying and what it’s like to go on tour with a new live stage show about her life.
Trisha Lewis aka Trisha’s Transformation will reveal how she overcame her secret gambling addiction, faced down loan sharks, and cleared the tens of thousands of euro of debt she had built up.
Making her Late Late Show debut, comedian Emma Doran will discuss a life-changing decision she made in lockdown, why she will never forget Courtown and her beef with the Young Scientists.
Straight from the stage of the annual Press Photographers Association of Ireland (PPAI) Awards Ceremony, PPAI president David Branigan will present some of the award-winning press photos of 2022. The Press Photographer of the Year will also join Ryan and David directly from the award ceremony on Friday night.
Plus, there will be great live Irish music from Pillow Queens, who will perform Hearts and Minds, and country star Nathan Carter, who will sing The Morning After.
The Late Late Show airs on RTÉ One on Friday March 3 at 9.35pm.
