WATCH: Join the Limerick Leader's enough is enough campaign

ENOUGH is enough. That is our message to the Government over our escalating trolley crisis, which is setting new, unwanted records.

Two weeks ago, UHL hit a new low with a new high for daily overcrowding with 81 patients on trolleys.

UHL previously held that record with 80 patients on March 22, 2013 when James Reilly was Minister for Health.

That’s a stark indication that this Government has just sat on this chaotic situation for far too long with very little progress.

We, at the Limerick Leader, want to see progress and, through a community-led campaign, highlight the situation so that Leinster House is aware of this crisis.

Leo Varadkar, a former Minister for Health, told the Leader that UHL needed a different approach.

The people of Limerick already know that. So it’s time for our politicians to act on this different approach.
