Sinead English and Orla Canney of Hilt were both winners at the Network Ireland Limerick awards

TWO members of staff from city centre career consultancy firm Hilt have been honoured by Network Ireland Limerick.

Hilt, which is based in O’Connell Avenue, provides interview training, CV review and job application form reviews.

The firm’s founder and chief executive Sinead English was named established businesswoman of the year.

This was at the annual awards of Network Ireland’s Limerick branch, which exists to support women in business and the arts.

Sinead was joined in the winners’ enclosure by Orla Canney, Hilt’s client service associate. She won the rising star category.

Sinead said: “We are delighted to receive these awards and to be recognised for the great work the entire team does at Hilt.

We have worked with thousands of organisations and individual clients, both in Ireland and internationally to help them to develop their teams and succeed in their careers.

“Our focus is always on our clients’ career growth and happiness. It’s so encouraging to see our hard work rewarded,” she said.

Both Sinead and Orla will represent the Network Ireland Limerick branch at the national awards competition to be held in September at the Lyrath Estate in Kilkenny.

Also in the running for awards at the September awards are sustainable clothing guru Annmarie Nagle, based just outside the city centre.

Denise O Brien, who runs O’Brien Learning Solutions won the solo businesswoman award at the local round of the awards.
Here, the creative professional prize went to artist Rachel Leahy.

Other winners included Karen Ronan of the Shannon Region Sports and Conference Bureau, who won networker of the year.
