The Choir and Culture Corner County Finals were held in the Woodlands Hotel, Adare last Wednesday evening where a very entertaining evening was enjoyed by all present.  Medal winners on the evening were as follows:
Primary School Choirs: Gold: Shountrade National School,Silver: Scoil Chríost Rí Boys National School,Bronze: Milford NS
U13 Choir: Gold: Caherdavin. Culture Corner:Gold: Granagh/Ballingarry, Silver:Croom Banogue Manister

On Saturday 21st April, the Munster finals were held in UL in preparation for the upcoming National Festival. Teams from all over the province gathered to play in the finals with gold medal winners qualifying to represent the province at the National Finals over the weekend of 25th to 27th May. UL certainly looked its very best as all present enjoyed the glorious sunshine and the visiting representatives of National Community Games were very impressed by the magnificent facilities. Limerick Community Games was well represented in several of the Munster finals and the following Limerick teams won gold medals and are now through to the National Finals :Indoor Soccer Boys U10 Caherdavin, Indoor Soccer Girls U10 Caherdavin, Mini Rugby U11 Regional ,Table Tennis Boys U13 Adare, Table Tennis Girls U13 Abbeyfeale 
There were also a number of silver medal winning Limerick teams: Badminton Boys U15 Bruff Grange Meanus, Basketball U11 Mixed Regional, Basketball Girls U13 Caherdavin, Draughts U10 Caherdavin, One wall Handball Boys U16 Brodadford Dromcollogher,One Wal Handball Boys U13 Caherconlish Caherline Herbertstown,Table Tennis Boys U16 Caherdavin
We wish to thank all participants, families, volunteers who came and supported the Munster Finals. It was a fabulous day and a great success. Many thanks to all those who helped in the planning of the day and who worked hard in the weeks and days prior to it and to all the officials and adult and youth volunteers on the day who did a tremendous job. It was great to see all the kids enjoy themselves and a fantastic chance to show the great facilities at UL. We look forward to the upcoming National Finals Weekend 1 from 25th to 27th May.
