As she prepares for the arrival of her second child with husband Simon Fitzgerald, the Vacious founder has been sharing candid updates with her followers.

WITH just one day to go before welcoming her baby daughter, Limerick influencer Sinéad O'Brien is keeping her trademark sense of humour intact.

As she prepares for the arrival of her second child with husband Simon Fitzgerald, the Vacious founder has been sharing candid updates with her followers, revealing how "full-blown nesting mode" has taken over her life in the final days of pregnancy - much to her husband's amusement.

"As Simon said, is the baby an inspector? Because I was like, 'did we clean the drawers? Did we clean the presses?' As if the baby is going to be inspecting the presses…. anyway, ye get it!" Sinéad joked with her 138,000 followers on her Instagram account.

The 40-year-old admitted that recently – aside from working on her business – her mind has been "consumed by nesting" and "getting the house ready" for the family's newest addition.

Although she believes to have "everything we need", Simon assures her that "if we don't, Sinéad, the shops are open!"

Laughing at her husband's remark, she explained that she "just wants everything to be here and ready for her arrival."

The businesswoman took to Instagram early this Wednesday morning to express her excitement ahead of the scheduled birth of her daughter tomorrow.

"I'm up before everyone. I woke at half 6, and I just said I have to get up; I am so excited!"

Sinéad became somewhat sentimental with her followers declaring it "just mad" that so many have been with her since "the very start".

"I've shared so many different, biggest life events, and this is just right up there", she stated.

The mother of three-year-old son Jacob expressed that while she is "really excited", she also finds herself "a bit anxious now" as she awaits her baby girl's arrival.

Sinéad thanked those who have messaged her for their ongoing support.

"It's so lovely to just wake up this morning and see all the well-wishes. It really, really is just so lovely messaging you all in my DMs and just, thank you all so much."
