WATCH: Garryowen FC head coach Mike Sherry reviews AIL derby win over Young Munster

GARRYOWEN ended a six-game losing run in Division 1A of the Energia All-Ireland League when recording a precious 31=24 bonus point derby win over great rivals Young Munster at Dooradoyle on Saturday afternoon.

Three second half tries proved crucial in helping the Light Blues overcome the visitors and record their first AIL win since October 30.

Afterwards Garryowen FC head coach Mike Sherry admitted breaking the six-game losing run was crucial for his side which had led the league after winning each of their opening four fixtures.
